Ithiel Falls Camp Pointing hearts toward Jesus, since 1899

Important message from Camp President & Board

April 13, 2020

Salutations Ithiel Falls Supporters,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and in an ever deepening relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We find ourselves in interesting times with the outbreak of the COVID-19.  Social distancing, all sporting events canceled, and even Easter having to take place in your living rooms. A few weeks back the Ithiel Falls board meeting had to meet via Zoom, which was a new experience for some of us.  At this meeting, the board discussed this year’s camp. We are all praying that we will be able to still have camp as usual but understand that a decision to modify or even cancel may be needed. This decision will take place in early June when we hear more from the CDC and Governor Scott (Governor of VT) around regulations of large social gatherings.  Please check the Ithiel Falls Facebook page or our website https://www.ithielfalls.org/ for these updates at that time.

Even with the uncertainty, it is always nice to think about Ithiel Falls and the warm days of July & August, which believe it or not is just around the corner.  While you are thinking about this upcoming camp, we need each and every one of you to continue to reflect, pray for and support Ithiel falls.

Ithiel Falls impacts many lives each year.  Wouldn’t it be incredible to know exactly how many people became Christians on these grounds or how many seeds have been planted at Ithiel Falls only to blossom elsewhere?    We are expecting that God will continue to do amazing things this year. The dates for Ithiel Falls 2020 are July 22nd through August 2nd, with each evening service starting at 7:00pm.

Ithiel Falls needs your help in many areas.  First, we need your prayer. Nothing that takes place on this campground is worthwhile, unless it is guided and supported by the Lord.  We need to pray for the safety of all the workers that will be getting the camp ready. Pray for all the children that will be attending, that they will have a close encounter of the God kind.  Finally, pray that God would inspire the Evangelists as they prepare for the services. This will be an incredible year if the Lord is involved in every aspect.

Second, Ithiel Falls needs your continuing financial support.  Many of you sacrificially give during camp and others continue to faithfully send monthly checks or pay online at our website..  We sincerely thank all of you for what you have already contributed but the camp needs approximately $10,700 additional dollars to meet all of our obligations and to open camp.  If you find yourself in a financial position that allows you to further support Ithiel Falls, it would be most appreciated.  As my brother, Brian Towle said from the platform one year, “How much is a person’s salvation worth?” You can send contributions to Ithiel Falls Camp Meeting, P.O. Box 316 Johnson VT 05656 or you can go to our website https://www.ithielfalls.org/give

The Camp Board and I sincerely thank you for your ongoing faithfulness.  May God bless you and keep you safe until we meet again.

In His service,

Christopher Towle (President) and the Ithiel Falls Board
